If you're looking for wedding inspiration while perusing the web, check out Junebug Weddings for bridal fashion, creative ideas, and beauty of all kinds.
Speaking of beauty, Junebug featured one of Scarlet Petal's intimate weddings held at the trendy Chicago venue, Loft on Lake. I just loved the soft, muted hues of the bridal bouquet. I often refer to this palette as "tea-stained," referencing the Victorian era or that antique look.
Thank you to Style Me Pretty for featuring another beautiful wedding of Scarlet Petal's! In this feature, you will notice personalized elements like Japanese prints and a memory board created by the bride. We further enhanced the modern lines of the Chicago Illuminating Company by designing minimalist centerpieces with mounds of warm candlelight. Click here for the full post. Enjoy a few sneak peaks below thanks to David Wittig Photography!
I wanted to share this beautiful blog post of a wedding Scarlet Petal designed late last year. Thanks to Misse of Honeybee Weddings for helping us make their vision come to life on their wedding day! Click here for the full post.

The Hotel Allegro is one of those venues that really embraces the true essence of Chicago. Guests of the hotel are surrounded by eclectic decor, luxurious accommodations, and an overall hip vibe synonymous with living in the downtown area.
Scarlet Petal recently decorated the interior of the Allegro ballroom for a wedding this past fall. Sivan, our adorable and petite bride, selected a rich hued palette of peacock blue delphinium set amongst crisp white hydrangea blooms. The combination was striking and really popped in photos! Below are a few captured by their talented photographer, DeAwna McGinley.
Congratulations to Sivan and David on becoming newlyweds!
Oh, how I adore the skilled and talented hand of Mary Winslow of Cake. The very first time I met Mary she was decorating a cake for one of our brides at Cafe Brauer. My jaw dropped to the floor when I realized what she had created. The very detailed embroidery on the bride's gown she replicated exactly onto the cake! It was unbelievable!! From that point on, I couldn't recommend Mary enough!
Years later, Scarlet Petal has had the pleasure of decorating her cake display for CS Brides magazine. Below is an excerpt from the feature along with a photo of our display. You'll find this on page 158 of the December 2012 issue. Enjoy!
Natural is in. And, that's the approach Mary Winslow of Cake: Sweet
Food Chicago and Scarlet Petal designers took when creating this
outdoor cake table extraordinaire. Featured in Modern Luxry Brides
Chicago Social,. the setting included one-tier, two-tier, and
three-tier cakes with contrasting styles by Winslow, accented with
casual alternating floral designs and visual accents by Scarlet Petal.

I just love it when flowers come in looking spectacular! Florists heavily rely on growers throughout the world to procure their flowers. Unlike a manufactured product, the same flower grown in New Zealand can look entirely different if grown in California. We keep our fingers crossed each week and hope for the best.
The flowers that arrived for Liz and Eric's wedding at Cafe Brauer were picture perfect! Speaking of which, Alaina Bos Photography captured the most beautiful and romantic images of the bridal bouquet, chuppah, and centerpieces to name a few. Below are a few from Elizabeth Anne Designs' blog post. Click here to view the entire spread.
We had so much fun working with Abby and Adrienne on their wedding day at The Ivy Room in Chicago. It was filled with vibrant color, love, and laughter! Click the image below to see the entire slideshow captured by Rick Aguilar. Congratulations, Ladies! Enjoy!
