Winter Wonderland Wedding Photos featured on the Be U Weddings!

Winter is right around the corner and today it certainly feels like it! I take solace in knowing that one of the trees outside my house still has green leaves (phew). I'm not ready for sub-zero temperatures and ice on my windshield.

That being said, I am excited about all of our winter wonderland weddings approaching! I just love the twinkling lights, white feathers, and pine set in silver mercury glass vessels. Last winter we designed a cozy wedding at an exclusive club in Chicago that was featured in Be U Weddings today. They did a gorgeous spread of photographs taken by the talented Heather Parker. Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum Wedding: Karin and Nathan

Happy Monday! Isn't this sunny weather perfect? I just love how the leaves are turning on the trees. A perfect autumn day in Chicago if you ask me!

I'm going to throw a little more sunshine your way to brighten up your week ahead. Karin and Nathan were recently celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum right off of Lake Michigan. They chose a vibrant color palette of yellow with undertones of grey. We incorporated whimsical blooms like craspedia, cymbidium orchids, and yarrow to name a few.  Pen Carlson did a fantastic job of capturing all the little details that went into making their day unforgettable.

Style Me Pretty Feature: Erie Cafe, Chicago

Happy Monday! We just received word that Style Me Pretty has featured another one of our beautiful weddings! It was of an intimate gathering a few months back at the Erie Cafe right off the riverfront. I just loved how all of the organic elements of this wedding came together - the succulents, ferns, and assorted foliages to name a few. It just made the interior space of the Erie Cafe even cozier.
