Phew! We've just wrapped up 5 weddings over the course of 3 days and I'm happy to say that they all were fabulous! I have to give a shout out to our staff for working countless hours on every little detail - and believe me there were many!!! Thank goodness we have such a talented bunch.
Today I wanted to highlight the first wedding at the Chicago History Museum that kicked off our marathon weekend. Linda and Mark, a very busy couple working long hours in the consulting world managed to plan their entire wedding between international flights to offshore clients. They both envisioned a traditional, grand, and romantic setting for their big day. What better flower to use than a rose? We used LOTS of them - over 1400 stems of blush pink roses.
To complete the look, we selected BBJ's Orleans Damask linens and silver chiavari chairs. Spin Light Design brought in pinspot lighting and blush washes of uplights throughout the room. Romance achieved!
Finally, the cake done by the ever so talented Mary from Take the Cake was stunning!!
Here are a few shots captured by a member of our crew, Danny. Thanks much!
Enjoy!
What I could say from the design, it is class and classic. Very beautiful for their special day. I hope it will not end there, because what's special in marriage is to be with your love one every single day of your life.
