Planning a wedding is somewhat like a mathematic equation. If you follow the right formula, most likely you'll end up with a beautiful and memorable day. If you miss the mark on one thing, you might just end up falling flat. It's all about the details!!
Lynne and Chris seemed to pull it all together seamlessly. From the invitation right down to the color of the cake, their black and white theme portrayed a modern, yet elegant vibe. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Park Hyatt in downtown Chicago.
Lynne wanted rich reds for the personal flowers, so we paired velvet black beauty roses with black berries for the bridesmaids. She carried a classic round bouquet of roses.
The reception space carried out her crisp and clean palette of white with undertones of black. Wrought iron lanterns were used to cast a warm glow throughout the room. Tucked beneath the lanterns were groupings of hydrangea, scabiosa, ti leaves, kangaroo paw, and roses. Other guest tables were decorated with groupings of floating candles accented by similar flowers used beneath the wrought iron lantern. Serendipity Portraits did a beautiful job capturing the details.
Enjoy!
