I've mentioned this little gem in the heart of the city before. The Ivy Room is hands down one of the most beautiful "outdoor" venues in Chicago. You can have your ceremony in their quaint courtyard that makes you feel your in a Tuscan garden.

Our past bride, Melissa, came to us with one thing in mind, "I would really like for people to think "unique and beautiful" when they see the flowers at the reception." We just love it when we have creative license to think outside of the box.
Melissa and Cory celebrated their wedding day at Fulton's on the River, the perfect downtown location for their urban chic affair. It turned out to be a beautiful autumn day, allowing for guests to enjoy the outside terrace overlooking the Chicago river.

Alexis and I met over a year ago in our studio. She came with the idea of wanting to create something romantic within her color palette of ivory, green, and blue. Her reception was going to be held at one of our favorite spots in the city, Germania Place. The charm and sophistication of the ballroom was the perfect backdrop for our romantic vision.
Her favorite flower? Hydrangea! Thank goodness hydrangea comes in all of those colors! She also wanted a little bling to sparkle, but not outshine the flowers. Enter - hanging crystals! They were the perfect accent to her tall and lush spheres of hydrangea, roses, spray roses, delphinium, and bells of ireland. Here are a few images for you to peruse graciously posted by Amanda Hein.
