I've always loved visiting the Museum of Science and Industry. I remember as a child, picking up a bag of dehydrated ice cream was the closest thing I would ever get to becoming an astronaut.
A few months ago I took my 5 year old son to visit the museum for the first time. He just loved watching the live tornado and storm exhibits. What a fantastic backdrop for a wedding reception!! Lucky for us, we decorated our first wedding reception in the museum's rotunda last week. The bride, Kara, really entrusted us to make her day unforgettable. She adored fuchsia phalaenopsis orchids and ostrich plumes, so we went out and bought ourselves enough to make a dramatic statement.
Michael Oren Photography helped us out in providing a few gorgeous shots of her centerpieces. Ali Phillips did a fabulous job making the event seamless and stunning!
Enjoy!
