When the mother of the bride Kathleen called me a year ago to the date, I knew this was going to be a spectacular event! Our initial conversation went late into the evening. Kathleen was looking for an “out of the box thinker.” She wanted a florist who could really create a unique and cozy ambiance for her 200+ guest count. After much iteration, we were so excited when Kathleen and her daughter Anne officially made us a part of their wedding day!
I think if it were up to Anne, she would have been married in the middle of an enchanted forest. Given we do not have many of those in Chicago, she and her mother opted on Café Brauer for both the ceremony and reception. The natural surroundings of Brauer inspired me to bring the outdoors inside!
There was also a hint of Art Deco present in the elegant chandeliers installed by our partners at Frost Lighting, along with our lantern set upon the tabletops. Overall, this really was a stunning event to remember.
Kathleen and Anne, thank you for allowing us to bring our collective ideas to life. It truly was one of our best.
Congratulations, Anne and Andrew!!
