Freya and Evan are a wonderful example of a couple that truly collaberates with vendors to create an incredible ambiance to reflect their own personal style and love. From the romantic candlelight ceremony to the gorgeous touches of blue, including the bride's shoes, everything came together beautifully. We loved the shimmering votives, amazing wedding cake, and refreshing blue hydrangeas with lavender accents. And, we loved this great couple even more. Congratulations, Freya and Evan. Chicago Style at The Rookery

Thanks to the quintessential architecture of The Rookery and the impeccable attention of LK Events, this classic downtown wedding epitomized Chicago style. The bride was radiant, the ceremony stately, and the reception filled with joy. Simple but elegant floral designs by Scarlet Petal featured cymbidium orchids, miniature calla lilies, roses, and white hydrangeas. Favors by Garrett's Popcorn topped off the evening of dining, dancing, and laughter. Congratulations Dana and Travis; your wedding was as beautiful as you are. W Hotel City Center : Jennifer and Josh

My apologies for the delay in posting these fabulous photos! It’s been a busy January. Congratulations goes out to all newly engaged couples!!
 
Our first wedding of 2010 was hosted at the ever so swanky W Hotel (City Center). You’ve heard me rave about this venue before. When it comes to décor they’ve thought of everything. From the revolving welcome mats in the elevator wishing you a “good morning”, “good afternoon”, or “good evening” to the illuminated check-in kiosks at the front desk, we’re always so inspired by the surroundings.
 
The adorable couple (and stunning bride as you will see in the photo below) Jennifer and Josh were willing to push the envelope when it came to color. Given the interior white walls, the sky was the limit when it came to selecting the palette. In the end, we jumped early into Spring with shades of indigo, fuchsia, and chartreuse. 
 
The flowers were abundant in textures from avant garde fiddleheads to plush blankets of wheat grass.
